In 2025, Soph, Mitch, and Evie are taking on the Camino to raise funds to fight MS. Not only will this be an incredibly tough physical challenge but a great opportunity for us to raise money and awareness for MS.
In 2020 Soph was diagnosed with MS after a relapse that led to loss of sensation in half her body, experienced vision loss in her left eye and spent weeks fighting medical professionals for a diagnosis.
In the past 4 years Soph has been relapse-free thanks to incredible medication and support services provided by MS Plus.
Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that causes demyelination of the brain and spinal cord. The symptoms are numbness, tingling, cognitive issues, vision loss, depression, fatigue, bladder issues and many many more. MS affects 2.8 million people worldwide. It is most common to be diagnosed between the age of 20 to 40. Women are 3x more likely to have MS than men. Someone is diagnosed with MS every 5 minutes.
