A gift that will change lives - Moments For MS!
Hi Everyone,
In lieu of receiving too many flowers in light of mum's unexpected death we would like the opportunity to raise money for the MS foundation which helped and supported her during her constant battle with MS. If you have already sent us flowers, we are sincerely grateful for your support.
Your generous donation will give Aussies living with multiple sclerosis like mum access to a wide range of support services to help them all through their journey. Most recently mum received a mobility scooter to support her ability to continue working.
MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system - currently there is no cure.
It's quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other neurological condition, with the average age of diagnosis just 30 years old. Mum was only 25 years old when she was diagnosed and fought everyday to keep the disease at arms length.
Every case of multiple sclerosis is unique - the symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone.

Your Mum was a very special lady who I have worked with at Melba College for many years, and she will be sorely missed. We always had a chat whenever we had the time and before covid I would join her and the breakfast club students, with my own breakfast. I am the union rep at Melba and we also had some of those serious workplace discussions too. I could always trust your Mum and I had her back whenever I could. Just in the last week of school we were talking about what 2022 would bring. I never imagined it would be the news of Jen's death.
