MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system - currently there is no cure.

It's quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other neurological condition, with the average age of diagnosis just 30 years old. Every case of multiple sclerosis is unique - the symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone.

You can ensure Aussies living with multiple sclerosis can break down barriers, achieve goals and live well by making a secure online donation.

Friday 1st Oct
Day 19- 2 laps, send help 😅
“Will I end up in a wheelchair? Will I go blind tomorrow? Will pat stop loving me as the diseases progress? Will this pain get worse and last forever? Is that headache another lesion? Will I retire in my 60s or will my body fail me before then? Will I lose bladder and bowel control? Did I drop that cause my hands are sweaty or did my hand lose strength? Will Jesse resent me for having him even though I’m broken?”
“You just need to be positive”. “I know someone with MS and they are fine”
While it’s true no ones future is certain, having a progressive disease can send you to some pretty dark corners of your mind. MS Australia  have some pretty amazing staff and people to refer to help people who maybe are spending a bit too long In the depths. I’m doing this for them. Cause not everyone with MS is fine, and that’s ok. Having shitty thoughts is human.
And for me, if I end up in a wheelchair I have some amazing people in my corner who would push me about when I can’t be assed using my arms, as u can tell  I’m not one for exercise. And if Pat stops loving me it would be cause being a pessimistic, sarcastic asshole finally got old. Babies shit themselves all the time and everyone still loves them.

Monday 13th Sep
Thankfully one of my villagers didn’t take no for an answer cause turns out first day of exercise in years with a toddler on ur back is a shit idea so she took over kid carrying duties 🖤
Thanks again to everyone who has donated, it provides much needed support and training for staff to help us warriors.
